Legal Executive Assistant

An outstanding opportunity has arisen in our global Legal team to support the Vice President of Legal for EMENA at Valeant Pharmaceuticals. This PA role will suit an individual who is keen to become involved in managing the corporate governance for the UK legal entity structure and managing local compliance. Our VP of Legal is seeking an organised and detail orientated who can help manage her busy diary.

The role:

You will be Responsible for 2 busy diaries (one in the UK and one in Italy)

Extensive Travel arrangements

You will coordinate team meetings both virtually and in person

You will prepare first class PowerPoint presentations

You will have excellent Excel skills to track data and manage budgets

You will be responsible for raising Purchase orders and receipting

You will assist in managing receipts and travel documents

You will be eager to learn and take on new skills, the more you show interest the more involved in the business side you will become.

Managing local online employee compliance training

You will be managing documentation and correspondence where detail and accuracy are paramount

You will have an interest in becoming involved in managing the corporate governance for the legal entity structure in the UK


Previous Legal or Compliance experience is essential

You have excellent knowledge of the Microsoft office suite most especially PowerPoint, Excel and Word

You enjoy taking ownership and resolving issues

Extensive experience of managing a busy and complex inbox

You are well presented and have excellent interpersonal skills

You have excellent written and verbal communication

You are naturally detail orientated and analytical

You are highly organised and able to juggle conflicting priorities with ease

You are highly confidential, discreet and customer orientated

You are keen to learn and take on new skills

You are extremely comfortable on the phone

You are calm under pressure
